Together in solidarity – digital companies fulfill Christmas wishes for 150 children and young people

At a time when social cohesion is more important than ever, employees from leading digital companies are joining forces to take responsibility. For the 15th year in a row, Eucon Automotive, Eucon Digital, adesso, Bechtle, and Vectron Systems have made the Christmas wishes of children and young people supported by St. Mauritz Child and Youth Welfare in Münster come true.

The initiative, launched by Eucon in 2011, stands for lived solidarity and the conviction that business success goes hand in hand with social commitment. Barbara Greissinger, Head of Group Communications at Eucon Automotive Group, explains: “We model solidarity where we act and take a stand. Every initiative like this strengthens not only the community but also our corporate culture – because we believe entrepreneurial success and social responsibility are inseparable.”

For 15 years now, lovingly designed wish lists have adorned the Christmas tree in the participating companies during Advent. Employees pick wishes from the tree or from a digital gallery and fulfill them – often together with family and friends. In doing so, they demonstrate that commitment begins where people need support – and that attitude and responsibility make the difference.

“I would like to thank the five companies for once again bringing joy to the children and young people this year. This wish list campaign sends a strong signal: it shows that we as a society must stand together – especially in times when many feel left behind,” emphasizes Michael Kaiser, Managing Director of St. Mauritz Child and Youth Welfare.
